Templates

Use the ICMECE Word template for the abstract or the full paper. Write the authors' names in full, give a permanent e-mail address and every author's ORCID iD.

The proceedings are produced in Word, so please submit with the Word template rather than LaTeX.

Format rules

• Full paper: up to 10 pages. Abstract: one page. Both on A4 with the ICMECE template: 2 cm side margins, Times New Roman 11 pt text, a 150–300-word abstract with three to six keywords.
• Written in English, with the authors' names in full and a permanent e-mail address.
• Please add your ORCID iD (orcid.org) to your CMT profile.
• An abstract cannot be turned into a full paper after the deadline: choose the type when you submit.
• Submit original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
• Give every author's ORCID iD in the paper, under the author's name, as the template shows.

Submit in Microsoft CMT

All papers and abstracts are submitted through Microsoft CMT; submissions sent by e-mail are not reviewed. The ICMECE 2027 submission link appears here and on the call for papers as soon as submissions open.

From submission to registration

   Submit in Microsoft CMT

   Submit a full paper or an abstract by 15 March 2027, prepared with the ICMECE Word template.

2. 2

   Peer review

   Every submission is peer-reviewed by the ICMECE scientific committee as it arrives. You receive the decision by e-mail as soon as the review of your paper is complete.

   Registration form

   After acceptance, fill in the registration form on the organizer's website (the link is on this page and in your acceptance e-mail). At least one author registers for each paper: every fee is €100 lower until 1 April 2027, and the standard registration deadline is 15 May 2027.

4. 4

   Proforma invoice and payment

   Pay by card on the organizer's secure payment page, or by bank transfer or Wise with the details on your proforma invoice.

5. 5

   Confirmation and letter

   You receive the payment confirmation and the official acceptance letter, which you can use for your visa application and your institution.

After acceptance

• At least one author registers for each paper and presents it, in Madrid or online.
• Accepted papers are published in the proceedings only after the registration fee has been paid.
• Papers that are not presented are not published in the proceedings and cannot be considered for the partner journals.
